Hosting and sovereignty
Platform hosted in Switzerland with Infomaniak. No copy of your Odoo database. No model training on your data.
Data location#
UpBoard is hosted with Infomaniak, an independent Swiss provider, in the Geneva area. UpBoard's operational data is stored there: analysis results, agent memory, logs and database.
Switzerland benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision: under GDPR, a transfer of data to Switzerland is treated like a transfer within the European Union.
UpBoard does not copy your Odoo database. Agents query your data directly in Odoo, at analysis time, and only keep what analyses need: alerts, scores and contextual memory.
Why Infomaniak#
- Independent host: the platform runs neither on AWS, nor Azure, nor Google Cloud; only the encrypted off-site backup copy is stored with Google

No model training on your data#
UpBoard uses Anthropic's Claude models through their commercial API. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent to the API is not used to train models. As Anthropic is based in the United States, these exchanges are covered by its data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses.
To retrieve relevant memories, agent memory is indexed with OpenAI embeddings, also through the commercial API: this data is not used to train models either, and reasoning stays with Claude.
Exchanges kept in our logs are masked: emails, phone numbers, IBANs and national IDs do not appear in clear text.
Backups#
Daily backup
Full PostgreSQL export every night, encrypted (AES-256) before it leaves the server.
Retention
7 daily and 4 weekly backups kept on rotation.
Off-site copy
Every backup, encrypted before upload, is copied to Google Drive. Google does not hold the key: the copy is unreadable to it.
Business continuity#
- Maximum data loss: 24 hours, since backups are daily
- Restore through a documented procedure, from the latest encrypted backup
- Notification of affected customers without undue delay after detecting an incident affecting their data
Reversibility#
On request, we send you your UpBoard data (alerts, agent memory, settings) in a structured format.
When the subscription ends, or when the trial expires without subscribing, all your account data is deleted 90 days later, unless you subscribe again in the meantime, with written attestation on request.
