Which ERPs do the UpBoard AI agents support?
UpBoard connects to Odoo, in versions 17, 18 and 19, whether you run Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or a self-hosted instance. The connector adapts to the differences between versions through field and model introspection, which avoids breaking when Odoo renames or moves a field from one release to the next. You have no module to install on the Odoo side: the connection uses the standard API, over the network you allow. Support for other ERPs may come later depending on demand, but today UpBoard is designed and optimized specifically for Odoo, which lets it understand your business data in depth rather than staying generic.
Can the agents modify my Odoo data?
By default, no: agents operate in read-only mode. They query your data through Odoo's standard read operation, creating, modifying or deleting nothing. When a write action is proposed (follow up on a quote, update a record, create an activity), it never runs automatically: it goes through explicit human validation, the human-in-the-loop principle, non-bypassable by design. The agent prepares the action and shows you exactly what it would do; you decide whether to execute it. Sensitive models (system parameters, mail servers, API keys) are also blocked at the connector level. You therefore keep full control of what happens in your ERP at all times.
How long does it take to connect my Odoo?
About five minutes, with no particular technical skill. You provide your Odoo instance URL and a dedicated API key (which you can generate and revoke anytime from your Odoo). No install, no module, no involvement from your integrator is needed on the Odoo side. Once connected, the agent immediately starts analyzing your data, and the first useful diagnostic usually arrives within the hour: you see your blind spots from the first session, with no deployment project or lengthy setup. Is my data secure with UpBoard?
Yes, and we handle it by design, not as an afterthought. Your ERP credentials are encrypted at rest (Fernet, with key rotation) and the connection to your Odoo is end-to-end TLS encrypted: your data never travels in clear text. UpBoard reads your data without storing it in clear text, and personal data (emails, phones, IBAN, national IDs) is automatically masked in logs. Hosting is in Europe (Switzerland), GDPR-compliant. Which agents are available today, and what is their scope?
Five agents are available: Sales (dormant quotes, prioritized follow-ups, pipeline reliability, forecasts), Purchasing (supplier delays, price drift, concentration, Pareto), Logistics (anticipated stock-outs, dormant items, coverage, stock valuation), Finance with Élise (0-to-100 health score, cash, receivables, VAT, compliance) and Support (SLAs, backlog, recurring reasons, satisfaction). Other domains, such as Point of Sale, Marketing and Executive, are arriving progressively. An important point on pricing: all plans give access to the same agents and all business domains. What changes between plans is the number of users and the monthly AI credit included, never the list of agents you are entitled to.
Do I need to replace my Odoo or change my habits?
No. UpBoard replaces neither your Odoo, nor your accountant, nor your integrator: it plugs in on top of your existing setup and complements it. You change nothing about your ERP, your processes or how your teams work day to day. Your integrator keeps configuring and evolving Odoo, your accountant keeps your books, and UpBoard watches your data continuously to tell you, every morning, what deserves a decision.
