UpBoard replaces neither your ERP, nor your accountant, nor your Odoo integrator. The platform plugs into your existing Odoo, read-only, and works from your real data. Your credentials are encrypted, your data is hosted in Europe (Switzerland), and nothing is changed in your instance without your approval.

Where a business-intelligence tool displays numbers, our agents reason: they prioritize, explain the "why" and propose a concrete action. Each agent is specialized by domain (sales, purchasing, inventory, finance, support) and understands the realities of an SME, including Belgian compliance (VAT, company number, Peppol e-invoicing).

Who is behind UpBoard.ai?

UpBoard.ai is published by Organize IT SRL, a Belgian company based in Lasne (VAT BE 0650.555.046). The platform is founded by Maxime Vanderhaeghe, an Odoo expert since 2010, back when the ERP was called TinyERP 4.0 and then OpenERP 5.0. Over sixteen years, he has led more than 130 ERP implementation projects across SMBs in varied sectors, from initial rollout to continuous optimization. It is that field experience that gave birth to UpBoard: the same realization came back project after project, namely that the data was there, in the ERP, but almost no one had time to use it. UpBoard is the answer to that gap, designed to bring the intelligence of large corporations within reach of SMEs.

Does UpBoard replace my integrator or my accountant?

No, by design. UpBoard is an analysis and steering layer that complements your Odoo ecosystem, without stepping on existing roles. Your integrator configures your ERP, evolves it and handles setup matters; your accountant keeps your books and secures compliance; UpBoard, for its part, watches your data continuously and tells you each morning what deserves a decision: a dormant quote, an aging receivable, a looming stock-out. The three roles are complementary, not competing. In practice, UpBoard works between your integrator's interventions and gives your accountant and yourself a continuous view of the company's health, where a one-off audit only shows a snapshot.

Where is my data hosted, and how is it protected?

Your data is hosted in Europe, in Switzerland (Infomaniak), in compliance with GDPR. The connection to your Odoo is end-to-end TLS encrypted, and UpBoard reads your data read-only, without storing it in clear text. Your ERP credentials are themselves encrypted at rest, with key rotation, and personal data (emails, phones, IBAN, national IDs) is automatically masked in logs. No write is performed in your instance without your explicit approval: the human-in-the-loop principle is non-bypassable. If your IT team wants the technical detail (connection architecture, permission scope, blocked models, data residency), it is documented on our Security and integration page.

Is UpBoard suitable for a small SME?

Yes, that is precisely the target. UpBoard is designed for SMEs of 1 to 500 people with no data team, no in-house consultants and no business-intelligence tool to configure. Everything is built so value arrives fast and without friction: connecting takes about five minutes, with no install on the Odoo side, and the first useful diagnostic usually arrives within the hour. No technical skill is needed to benefit from it, since the agent does not ask you to build reports but proposes prioritized actions directly. The smaller your structure and the fewer data resources you have, the larger the gap UpBoard closes: you get a level of analysis usually reserved for large corporations.

How is it different from a dashboard?

A dashboard shows numbers; it is then up to you to interpret them, understand the cause and decide what to do. That is useful, but it stops where your real work begins. An UpBoard agent does the opposite: it analyzes your data, prioritizes the topics by impact, explains the context and proposes a concrete, quantified action that you approve before execution.
