Your Odoo registers reviewed every day: variances, discounts and sleeping stock, in euros.
At a glance#
The Point of Sale agent (Lucas) connects to the Point of Sale module of your Odoo, read-only. He reads your orders, register sessions, payments, sellers and products.
On every scan, he analyzes the last 30 days and creates an alert when he finds a cash anomaly, a margin leak or a dormant product in the assortment, with the amount at stake. His other analyses are available as soon as you ask.
What the agent detects#
- Cash anomalies: variances at closing, sessions open for more than 24 hours, sellers with an abnormal refund rate, refunds entered at night
- Margin leaks: high-discount lines, free items, sales below cost, with the loss in euros and as a share of revenue, and the sellers it concentrates on
- Dormant products in store: items in stock with no sale for 90 days, with the tied-up value and a suggestion (clearance sale, promotion or removal from the assortment)
- Store comparison: revenue, number of tickets, average basket, gross margin, margin rate and items per ticket, side by side, to name the champion store and the one to support
What you can ask him#
Beyond alerts, Lucas answers your questions about your store sales:
- Revenue of a store over a given period
- The average basket and how it evolves
- Peak hours and the time slots that fall behind
- Each seller's performance
- Best sellers and the products that no longer move
- The split between payment methods
- Your loyal customers and the share of loyalty card holders
Analyses cover all your active points of sale by default. You can narrow them to one or more stores.

The Point of Sale module is required. When installed, the Inventory, Employees and Loyalty modules enrich the analyses: value of dormant stock, sellers linked to employees, share of loyalty card holders. Without the Point of Sale module, UpBoard simply shows no register alerts.
Supported versions: Odoo 17, 18, 19 (Community and Enterprise).

Which alerts does Lucas create automatically?

Can Lucas change my registers or prices?
No. Lucas works read-only: he changes neither your orders, nor your register sessions, nor your prices. He analyzes and recommends, and any write to Odoo requires your explicit approval.
I have several stores, does it work?
Yes. Analyses cover all your active points of sale by default and can be narrowed to one or more stores. With a single point of sale, only the store comparison does not apply.
Does my data leave my Odoo?
The agent reads your data via the Odoo API. Analysis runs on our infrastructure hosted with Infomaniak in Switzerland. No data is used to train a model. Each customer has an isolated tenant. More in our security page.
